Smart Inventory system is an improved method to maintain inventory. It doesn't need any specific interface to operate, simply connect your device with WiFi and find your desired component. Ability to change quantity (add/remove) to keep track of part count.
My final project is a device for performing different basic tasks of digital logic design. It is like a trainer module which are available in our electrical and electronics labs for different subjects.
The Fab Wire Cutter was really an intresting project to do. While making this project I employed the already learned skills to make almost anything. The troubleshooting of different parts of circuit gave me a better insight about each component like Stepper motor driver IC, SErvo motor etc. The project will be used in our lab , and further improvement from the perspective of design and accuracy will be made.
Lixie are the modern version of the popular Nixie Tubes. Lixie employs WS2812B RGB LEDs place beneath the 3D printed base. The segments are engraved on 3mm Transparent acrylic sheets. Lixie can be joined together in a chanied fashion
My name is Nadir Ali and I am from Sindh Pakistan. I am an electrical engineer majors in electronics. During my studies in my final year project (FYP) I did my first intrusion on digital fabrication. This is Rasheed Ahmed Qazi. I am a Graduate in Electrical(Electronics) Engineering from Sukkur IBA University. After completing my bachelors degree in September 2017, I came to know about FAB Lab where we can make almost anything. It also offers the Fab Academy program in collaboration with the Fab Foundation and the MIT’s Center for Bits and Atoms; the Fab Academy is a distributed platform of education and research in which each Fab Labs operates as a classroom and the planet as the campus of the largest University in the world, where students learn about the principles, applications and implications of digital manufacturing technology.
In 2018,first time Pakistan represented by Fab Lab Khairpur in FAB Academy for their 6 month course of FAB Diploma. Our mission as a Fab Lab is to provide access to the tools, the knowledge and the financial means to educate, innovate and invent using technology and digital fabrication to allow anyone to make (almost) anything, and thereby creating opportunities to improve lives and livelihoods around the world.
